Is it illegal to charge a customer more than the shipper is being charged by the carrier? Is there any clear written law stating this type of practice is illegal?
Any info you can provide regarding this is appreciated.

Hi Mark,

This is a great question and one that is difficult to answer without specific information about your frequency and volume. Consolidating your shipments is a great way to reduce costs and UPS has a good program.

Are you paying Goods & Services Taxes (GST)? If you are, one thing that you could do is get reimbursed by your Canadian Customers.

Any of you shippers have any ideas for Mark on saving on shipping?

I am looking for help in shipping to Canada. I understatnd the document requirments and we are currently utilizing UPS Worldship to consolidate shipments which are deconsolidated at the border and enter the UPS Canada parcel stream for final delivery.

Are there any other options that will get the same results where we can save a buck or two?
